Terms of Service
Effective October 2, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Cosella: our website, the web app, the desktop app and our API. By creating an account or using Cosella you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Cosella for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. Where you have signed an order form with us, it takes priority over these terms if the two differ.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate. You are responsible for activity in your account. Workspace admins control who joins their workspace, what each seat can see, and which integrations are connected, and are responsible for the seats they invite. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
What Cosella does, and does not, promise
Cosella prepares reps for sales calls, coaches them live, drafts follow-ups and call plans, and shows how deals are going. It supports your team's judgment; it does not replace it.
- Research, call plans, coaching, drafts and scores are generated with AI and from the sources available. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check important facts, especially before you rely on them in a conversation or send them to anyone.
- Scores such as likelihood to pay are labelled estimates, not predictions or guarantees.
- Cosella never sends an email or message for you without your approval.
- We do not promise any particular sales result. Any performance guarantee applies only as written in your order form.
Calls and the people you contact
Because Cosella works with your calls and your leads, you are responsible for:
- Giving any notice and getting any consent the law requires before a call is recorded or transcribed. Cosella lets your workspace require a recording notice; using it correctly is up to you.
- Having the right to the lead and customer data you bring into Cosella or sync from your CRM, and using it lawfully.
- Following the rules that apply when you call, text or email people through Cosella, including consent and opt-out requirements.
- Credit and pre-qualification data. Cosella does not run credit checks and is not a credit reporting agency; it only displays fields your CRM already holds. You are responsible for having the consent and the lawful purpose those fields require, and for not using them to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, employment, housing or insurance through Cosella.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cosella to:
- Record people unlawfully, mislead them about who is calling, or harass them.
- Send spam, or contact people who have opted out.
- Collect or infer sensitive information about people, or research anyone for purposes other than a genuine sales conversation with them.
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Access another workspace's data, probe or overload the service, get around its limits or security, or reverse engineer it.
- Resell Cosella or use it to build a competing product.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on our site or in your order form and exclude taxes, which you pay where they apply. Team plans are billed by seat. If a payment fails we may pause paid features until it is resolved. We will tell you before any price change applies to your next billing period.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew after that. Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or your order form says otherwise.
Your content
You own what you bring into Cosella: your playbooks, documents, calls, contacts and the outputs Cosella generates for you. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide Cosella to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use it to train AI models. You can export or delete it while your account is open.
Cosella itself (the software, design and everything we provide other than your content) belongs to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Third-party services
Cosella connects to services such as Google, Microsoft, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, Calendly, Stripe, PayPal, Twilio and Slack. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes to what they allow, or what they do with your data. If a connected service changes or stops working, a feature that depends on it may stop working too.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is not paid, and will give notice where we reasonably can. You can close your account at any time. After an account is closed we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy; export anything you want to keep first.
Liability
Cosella is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cosella is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
You will cover our reasonable losses from claims brought by others because of your content, the calls and messages you make through Cosella, or your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Cosella after that means you accept the updated terms.
